how it works

Live Audio & Event Production Training

Course Duration

  • 8-12 months of intensive hands-on training, each lesson taking about 4-6 weeks to complete 

  • (MINIMUM) 300 - hours  of on-site learning required to complete course

  • Create your own schedule and move through the course at your own pace

Carefully designed to unfold over 4-6 weeks, each lesson is a journey in itself, systematically enhancing  understanding of the subject matter.

Our unique approach allows students to progress through the material at their own pace, ensuring a thorough grasp of each concept before advancing.

  • Dive into the basics, covering everything from industry terminology to lifting techniques and stage operations & safety protocols

Audio Fundamentals

  • Explore the nuances of analog vs digital signals, passive vs active PA systems, microphones types, and more

Sound Reinforcement

  • Gain hands-on experience with rigging and installation basics, understanding room acoustics, and troubleshooting common technical issues

Dynamic Signal Processing

  • Learn the art of compression, equalization and effects through practical workshops and real-world applications

Monitor World

  • Master the setup and control of stage monitors, ensuring optimal feedback control and customized mixes for individual performers. Learn about wireless systems, in-ear monitoring and more

The Front of House Mix

  • Take charge of the front-of-house mix, balancing levels and communicating effectively with performers to bring their show to life for the audience

Mixing all Genres and Event Types

  • Challenge yourself with genre-specific mixing and adaptability exercises so you can mix any genre or event in any situation

Live Recording Techniques

  • Explore live recording techniques, covering microphone selection and placement, multi-track recording, and post-processing techniques

Networking and Careers

  • Engage with industry professionals, learn about different career paths, and build networking strategies that allow you to explore the exciting opportunities that await you upon completion of the program
